They use it in class, most teachers use it in class, and yet hardly anyone talked about it, until very recently. His publications include the award-winning <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/gb\/cambridgeenglish\/catalog\/teacher-training-development-and-research\/translation-and-own-language-activities\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u2018Translation and Own-Language Activities\u2019<\/a> (Cambridge University Press, 2014) and a chapter entitled \u2018Questioning &#8216;English-only&#8217; classrooms: own-language use in ELT\u2019 in the \u2018Routledge Handbook of English Language Teaching\u2019 (forthcoming).
